The Joe Biden administration won't have enough time to provide Ukraine with military aid for all of the money authorised by Congress before his tenure ends in January 2025, and some of the authority in this particular regard will be transferred to Donald Trump's team.

American officials are acknowledging that the U.S. won’t be able to spend all of the money authorized to transfer arms to Kyiv by Jan. 20.

Roughly $16 billion of the sum would be used to restock U.S. arsenals, while the remaining $8 billion would go to the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI), the outlet wrote.
